Welcome to the website of The Chinto Karate Group.  On this site we hope to give you an insight into what we do and how (and why) we do it.  Please read through the pages and drop us a line if you have any questions.  Hopefully it will encourage you to find out more and come and join us.

The Chinto Karate Group has a proud tradition of providing friendly, professional training in the Gorleston area going back over twenty years.

Our high quality, qualified and insured male and female instructors have many years of experience and are all advanced DBS checked.  We strive to create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere where students can train in classes alongside people of all ages including other family members.  They can train just once a week in any class which suits them or can attend as many classes as they wish.  There is no subscription or membership fee, so you only pay for the classes you attend.

The Chinto Karate Group teaches traditional Shukokai karate which is considered to be one of the most dynamic styles.  We don't mix styles or other martial arts as we feel this provides a better learning and progression path for our students.  We also offer adapted karate training for those with physical disabilities and conditions which may be less obvious.

Beginners are always welcome and our coaches are always there to help them develop their technique, discipline and self confidence.   The first session is free.  All that is needed is loose fitting clothing and a willingness to try.  All our classes are 1 hour long and are designed to ensure personal development.

Our sole aim is to aim to bring out the best in our students.

The Chinto Karate Group has a long, rich history in the local are so if you’re interested in finding out more please click on the links above.
